Just a few things I see.

AUTOLITE stamp on alternator in the wrong spot/appears to be missing noise suppressor mounted on the alternator
Deluxe seat belts with no reminder light.
Hood hinges should be painted black for a 65
Power steering pump cap should be painted
The color of the pump depends on the manufacturer/ painted the wrong color blue regardless.
No convertible top boot bag

Would like to see the undercarriage.

First, looks like a very nice restoration from the pictures and I really like the color scheme!
I agree. Wimbledon White was the most popular color for 64 thru 66 Mustangs (Ford marketing), and a red interior (both standard and deluxe) were the most common.
I wanted to discuss what details are correct and incorrect on the car and see what others notice. I realize pictures are limited. I picked up on the following, some of which I'm not completely sure of so would be interested in what others have to say.

-It appears the data-plate VIN (ending in "60") doesn't match the fender apron VIN (looks like it ends in "50")
Good catch. Again I agree.
-San Jose style WMO radiator, should be the Dearborn/Metuchen style with squared top straps.
Yup.
-P/S pump is painted blue, I believe it should be painted black?
-
I think aqua, I'm not sure.
-Back-up lights present, I don't believe they were an available option on a '65 GT, were they?
They were an option in 1965.
-Incorrect brown colored starter solenoid?

-missing "Front" sticker on air cleaner, "Autolite spark plugs" sticker placement on air cleaner"?
"Front" stickers not used in 1965.
-Sticker on top of oil breather cap not correct for this month/year?
That I do not know. Probable use the one in the "kit" (like I did).

No, natural finish, or phosphate and the spring darker as it was heat treated.

Not all the time.

That fender VIN definitely looks like ..60 to me. Compare it to the 5 number also in the fender VIN.

Stamp placement has been discussed here before...Most agree it should be lower.
Have an original 65 alternator on the shelf, ink stamp is not on top and suppressor sticks up where you can see it and the fan is painted blue
Color of the fan has been discussed here as well

I have an original supplied by Ford in my trunk of my 66...Have owned the car since 1973

Most don't agree.

Alternator is original when, and where? My San Jose May 65, GT Fastback alternator stamp is faintly visible on top, the suppressor is not easily seen.
A blue fan is a rarity. In this case I would be inclined to say not blue.

Just my 2 cents. 

The power steering pump color looks a little off.  Appears to be too dark but could just be the lighting.  I thought the color was dependent on who supplied Ford or Thompson? 

It is missing the hose cover on the passenger side of the air conditioning. 

My dad's 65 GT Fastback did not have back up lights, but the original owner could have ordered them on the car or added later...

What was the change over date for the horn brackets?  Those look like 66 horn brackets..

No sound deadener in trunk area on quarter panels from what I can see

I think the VIN looks like a 6, if you look at it closely you can see the back does complete the circle.  And the top part of the curve looks a little different than the first digit.  Could be the angle?

is the vacuum line bend over?  Doesn't look right?

Those aren't deluxe seatbelts.  Those are the early style.  Deluxe is the push button type...

Can't see fog light switch

AC bracket attached to cowl brace does not appear to be holding the AC hoses but appears to be there as there is something mounted in that area

Reminder light was not until 66.  Those are the early deluxe style but I have those with no warning light and there has never been one in the car.  Later regular style had the clam shell plastic type and later deluxe were push button.

That's because Mr Speegle prefers them the way they typically came from Ford ;) for historic correct restorations. Blue alt fans are rare and are not typical which is why in concours they are not normally excepted unless some reasonable verification for that particular car. Otherwise we would see them copied on many different cars like so many other inappropriate paint marks copied from one restored car to the next disregarding application or time frame usage.

Sorry not interested in picking apart a car (non members car simply posted on the web) currently up for sale unless the owner asks. Or if you are wondering how, in this case, a judging team missed or only deducted a small number of points (description of 94 out of 100 points is not MCA judging) we could always have that discussion over in the judging area 

If you believe its a fake or not what they are selling (K code that isn't one for example) then I can see a reason to warn other members

Just my thoughts but IMHO its unfair to pick out one car,  of the many, that are for sale there.  Just me

  Where did you get this information Jim? If you do your research you will find that the FRONT decal was used on 65s and 66 Mustangs. It may or may not have been used on 64.5 and some early 65's.
Formerly the MCA ANHJ 64.5-66!

+1 - Mike - I've seen a few original '65's with the FRONT sticker on the air cleaner (Dearborn and Metuchen for sure).  Also agreed on the 64.5 and early 65 comment.

Agree Bob - two many alternator repros sadly have the Autolite stamp on top or on both sides of the housing and don't use the correct font.  It's getting harder and harder to find an unrestored example.

The only place I have seen the alternator stamp on original unrestored  64.5-66 Mustangs is on the side that is the bottom on V8 and the top on L6es.
