Va Mustang sells a reasonable match to Koni orange, but if you want exact, will need to go by a paint code or color match to spray.

If you want to use model paint, shouldn't be too difficult to mix up something close.  Red, yellow, black, white...

From some old notes - likely collected off other forums long ago - but might be worth a shot

Plasti-kote Fast dry super enamel Bright Orange T-31

What Koni was applying on the classic shocks.

Original Konis from the mid 60's were more reddish than orange.
I had a paint shop mixing me a paint with an original 4-65 dated
Koni as an example. The front bracket's under side wasn't dulled from
time and the results were excellent.

Swede: excellent idea. They are off car now so it'll be easy to bring them in. I have a paint supply store near me. They could probably help.

Gimpy,
If you send me your email address by a message, I will send you the formula.
Much cheaper for you than having a paint shop identifying it. They used a spectrometer
but the results were not satisfactory so they did a mix by hand until they were dead on.
As I said, great results.

Wow they look great. Got to get to paint store this week. If I'm successful my Winter project is set.

Just asking , I know you are working on 70 Shelby. The Konis aren't for that are they?
