Topic: 70 Boss 302 Hood Stripes

Hi, i am seeing that on a 70 Boss 302 the painted hood stripe is 14 5/8" at the front and 16 5/8" at the rear. Can anyone confirm this is the case as 2" seems a lot of taper.

Also the wide painted stripe has two pin stripe lines running along the side of it, is the one closest to the painted stripe also painted

Don't have a car to measure this moment. Your measurements much have been taken from the pretty old Mustang Monthly illustration.


Have not heard of any owner having problems following that illustration.
