New Member, saying hello
« on: April 05, 2010, 08:45:58 PM »
Hi to all, although I don't own a Mustang, I do enjoy the challenge of properly restoring for clients when the opportunity arises. Thought I would join this forum to learn as much as possible for the next car that comes my way. Last one I did was a 3rd week July Dearborn Mach 1. Learned lots from Jeff and all the other experts on the "other" forum. Look forward to this, thanks!

Thanks Jeff.  I'm amazed by the amount of knowledge, passion and the lengths that Mustang owners go to  in order to restore their cars. When I restored the Mach 1 I mentioned last year, I gleaned a lot of info from you guys from the VMF site. Just finished a  concours restoration on a Chevelle, there is nowhere near the amount of information out there for that marque compared to Mustangs it seems.

Yes it has to be difficult to do many of those other cars to the same level. But maybe they are lucky if the judging and shows are not as detail based either ;)
