Correct Plating For 1970+ Factory Hurst Shifter

Does anyone definitively know the correct plating for a factory Hurst shifter?

Box and internal levers - Silver Cad?
Rods - Gold Cad?
Levers on trans - Phosphate and oil?
Trunions (connects rod to shifter lever) - Gold Cad?
Nuts on Trunions? - Phosphate and Oil

I believe this correct but want to be sure .....

Will give it a try

Box and internal levers - Silver Cad? - Yes - looks like some are using clear or silver zinc due to availablility

Rods - Gold Cad? - Yes Except for the lock out rod - that one appears to be cad or dull zinc

Levers on trans - Phosphate and oil?  - Yes

Trunions (connects rod to shifter lever) - Gold Cad? -  Not sure

Nuts on Trunions? - Phosphate and Oil - Believe so

reverse rod gold 70 b2s & 351c BUT 70 b9 & cj reverse rod phos  since the tailshaft housing is unique doz cast # & reverse rod has different bends to it.

Sort of related, since it attaches to the shifter, but what about the reverse lockout rod that goes to the steering column?  What finish?

from what I seen silver on lockout rod & 70 b9 is unique (shorter since engine forward mount) without any ford # just a yellow color code but the others have ford eng# depending on which trans &engine 4-speed or auto.

Could not find an answer using search, so resurrected this thread?

I am getting ready to restore/replate a 70 Ford Hurst shifter and was wondering if there had been a definitive answer to the plating on the trunions? I cannot tell from any of the originals I have, but have seen them yellow dichromate OR zinc /cad on various other restored cars.

Any help would be appreciated!

The trunions should be a zinc dichromate....adding a photo here.
