1966 Mustang Convertible (grill question)

Was there an OPTION for grill color by 1966 (in my case cream white)???


MY GUESS IS  PO painted the grill WHITE in an effort to dress the car better considering he did a color change and added White GT stripes, White top and white wall tires!
