Not sure if this was posted here before but it's so neat it's worth duplicating.  ;)

Courtesy Ford is in Colorado Springs from what I recall?  Was thinking the K convertible I restored might have been from around there, but could never confirm.

Three bar spinners on a 6 banger. Isn't that a little outside the box?

Yeah, no fender badge denoting a V8. I believe that's Arcadian blue which was a 65' color? Nice to see crisp body lines. :)

I can't see and I can't type....what can I say?  ;D

Notice the missing badge now and of course it's a 65.  ;)

Yea, nothing like a picture of a factory fresh car. Bet it hardy had any miles on it.

Are the numbers on the bumper the the temporary plate?

Hmmmm, how can you tell it's a six?

I can tell because it has those TINY 13" wheels!!!  I had one like that except it was Honey Gold.  I was 16.  I actually went to Mission Tire in 1977 and bought (ON CREDIT) a set of American Racing alloy "slots" mag wheels.  13"x 9" with 4 lugs. I put Daytona 60's on the rear and Daytona 70's on the front.  Then I talked my Dad (body man) into painting it Rangoon or Candy-Apple Red.  LOL  What a dumb kid!

Believe so but not sure what state followed that practice - they were all different. Wasn't a California thing in the location :)

I see the title got changed to 65 Mustang...good, I thought everybody here would have known that!  No back-up lights on a 66? Did they ever even make a 66 w/o backup lights? (not an expert there, but always thought 66 had them)

Anybody else spot the "Curb Feelers" (cat whiskers)

Yea, changed the title. Darn typo's.  I have a 65 so I knew it was a 65 but my fingers didn't! I think you are correct on the 66 having backup lights but also not an expert.

I looked at the picture several times and thought it was just some weird reflection but now see the curb feelers!  Cool!  :)

Looks like the back seat has pleats across the top, which would indicate interior decor group... so Arcadian Blue, built after April '65.  I would not expect true color on a 50yr old photo.  Arcadian Blue gets a lot lighter with direct sun.
