It was not a question on the word manifold, it was the design of the check valve.  There were 3 cars that had the non-typical check valves.

Jeff,  Ron and I judged six 1968 KR500s at Savannah. Of the six three had this strange valve that I pictured above.
Tim, I know two of the three were the blue fastbacks I can't remember the third

Didn't see any prior discussion or pictures so I started a new thread for 67's.

I'm getting pictures back from owners, so far 2 have side entry, 1 the 67/early 68 style. Trying to figure if side entry was from 68 model or "close" that was picked up somewhere.
Marty, I know 5, was #6 the green unrestored?

Yes #6 was the green unrestored. I believe it had the early original style or a modern replacement.

The one we've seen a number of times (Scotts old one) ?  If so its possible I've got a picture from those shows
