When I restored my '69 Mach, the original hood pins and plates were long gone. I ended up using the "reissue of original by OEM" hood pin kit (16700-1A) that NPD offers, the one that is supposed to be the most accurate and correct.
Somewhere along the line, I've lost one of the stainless screws that mount the top plate. I can't find a replacement screw anywhere. And this is on top of the hood, so it's dead obvious that one of the screws is missing. I looked at NPD; they don't sell the screws separately from a complete kit. I looked at AMK; they don't list hardware for hood pin plates at all.
Where can I track down one of these screws? I'm more than willing to replace the other 7 screws if I have to buy a complete kit. Heck, for all I know, these screws might not even be that accurate since it's a reproduction kit. The Savannah MCA show is coming up, and I can't take the car with a screw missing in such an obvious location!!!
