I just wiped mine down with wax and grease remover so it would not fisheye and hit it with some 000 steel wool. Thin coats and you will get a nice satin finish and it will cover the fine cracks that some coils have. As always it is best to start with the nicest coil you can find before refurbishing and correct stamping is also avail out there if you want to go that far.Ray
Or in my case hiding an aftermarket non OEM coil...
