Tire sizes
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:50:20 PM »
I want to place Goodyear polys on my mustang...I have 15inch wheels and I was going to get f60x15 all round I believe these equate to 235/60/15 BUT I would really like to stagger them with G60x15...but my car came with RWL N/S...the F60x15 no issues but the G60x15 do not come as a N/S tire...so having size on the rear and no size on the front would look weird any suggestions, or do I just come to grips it will have to be F60x15 all round

Don't really have a choice IMHO if your restoring the car or are going to be showing the car then the choice has already been made for you

Since you mention 15's then we are likely looking at getting tires for a Boss  and yes mixing size and no size would look odd (will agree) plus just not original.

If you want to modify the car get another set of wheels (minilites look good -or something newer looking like Boyds) then put some big meats or 18-19" wheels with rubber bands and simply swap them  out depending on what your doing
