Looking for the early style harness that plugs into the light attached to the back of the console box.

The light is not a part of the early style harness.  See the attached pic for comparison.  The early style is on the left.

Location of the compartment light is one difference (main bodies on Non AC bases are difference also) . Can't remember if the very early had an illuminated shifter lens since it didn't have the arrows.

So blue9450 do you need the main wire loom or the pigtail from the compartment light?

Can't recall if I kept any of the wire looms but will look if I know which one you need. Bought and sold allot of these in the 80's Mustang shops didn't want to spend the time cleaning and reassembling these so would by dozens of them from each shop, redo them during the week and sell them on the weekend at swap meets. Always good sellers.

I already went through my inventory and didn't have that particular model blue was looking for.  Usually, I have the off-the-wall stuff lying around.

Checked mine today also - must have tossed all the console looms

I may have one. I have extra early consoles with harnesses. Need to check this weekend.
