Picture 19 is cool - shows exterior color that shot through the backup light hole when valence was hanging on the body, something discussed here several times.
True, there IS body color that shot through the backup light opening in the rear valance, but it is covered with REPAINT. Only SOME of the original can be seen from other angles not clearly seen in that picture. I removed all of the chrome and lamps when I did a color change on this car years ago.
What needs added to that comment is the fact is the car was originally Lime Gold (Ford 2041-A, Data tag code "I")
What you see
clearly in photo 19 as well as other images is the color that looks much like Dark Moss Green, is the color change color. Look again at the wheel well images and the floor pans, you will see MUCH MORE of the original Lime Gold body color than any of the repaint coloring in those areas. (those areas would have been somewhat dirty, so re-paint didn't stick well) You might have missed very good details if you thought this car was originally Dark Moss Green.
More images that didn't make it into the FIRST set below.
In picture 7 (below) I had just finished straightening the inverted floorpan under the passengers seat. Much effort was given to not remove any original paint but I had to use a stud puller to help get certain areas back out. In that picture, if you look in the blackout paint near the rocker pinch weld, you might see the what I'll call a "smiley face" of how deep the damage was. (it is kinda rusty orange color)
ALSO, a link to some of the BEFORE cleaning (much) damages area needing fixed on the frame rails.
