not an expert at anything but

That is a Modine big block 67 radiator as opposed to West Modine used on San Jose builds. Clean it up good to see if there is a suffix after the C7ZE as there are at least 6 different known ones. Perhaps farther down that same strap will be a smaller font date stamp. If there are no other stampings it may have had a brazed tag denoting application that has since come off. The bottom tank will tell you if it is an automatic or standard transmission application. It is not a Shelby being either Dearborn or Metuchen would likely be a an S or X code 390 application without air

For not being an expert, you sure know a lot!  ;)  A lot more than me!

I would have expected a suffix after the C7ZE- but just can see one? I did find the date stamp. Not sure how to decode it.  It looks like V16M23 but will have to look closer since the stamping is very light.

I don't see any spot where there would have been a tag but will have to look again.

Wow, you are good.  It's out of a Dearborn 67 390 Auto w/o air!

So in your 'expert' opinion  ;)  could  this be the  original radiator for my car?

Thanks so much for the help! 8)

I would have expected a date format like 7AD (4th week Jan 1967) as commonly found on radiators. If the stamping on your rad represents Dec 23 1966 it would be a likely original match to your car and within the expected date range. That is an odd one but regardless of date is the correct radiator for your car. 8)

Very cool!  8)  Thanks for the info.  I was expecting a different style date code too.
