WTB - Ignition Section of Dash
« on: June 25, 2014, 09:25:02 AM »
The ignition and lighter section of my dash was ruined by someone using a screwdriver to remove it.

If anyone has cut up a dash, I would like to get the ignition and lighter section of the dash.

I've included a picture of roughly what I'm looking for except the picture only shows the ignition cut.

Thanks

Wow. Wouldn't it be easier to replace the entire dash? Looks like the radio knob holes have been duplicated too. Putting in a new dash would not have the finish work either. Just a thought.

Please specify 1967 or 1968 for the dash. Believe it or not, the ash trays are different between the years. One is taller by about 1/4 - 1/2  inch.

I think the dash he has pictured is a '65-66 dash.
Too much junk, too little time.

Yes it's a 65-66 dash. The photo included is just an example I found on the net. Mine has not been cut yet.

Something I never mentioned, is that my dash was converted to RHD regrettably, (Im in Australia) so installing a new dash is out of the question at this stage.

Thanks for your responses

Can you post an actual photo of your dash? It may answer a myriad of other questions that could make it easier to help you.
