1968 Wimbeldon White coupe question

Folks I own a 1968 Coupe (Wimbeldon White / Parchment interior). Was wondering if the interior carpet would be black or not ? I know the PO had changed the carpet ....
I have no door tag etc ... anyway to know ? Anyone have pics with the same interior / exterior color combo?

It should have black dash and carpet. May be Jeff has some pics.

you can get a new door data plate from www.martiautoworks.com and don't forget the rivets.

i have the same color combo but with a bench seat. i agree with Marty. i found a small snippet of black carpet in my project, but it never had a dash. all my research points to just the dash and carpets being black.

I agree with Tim that a Marti report will be a great help to discover the way your car was built. Unfortunately it will only give you what interior package your car received not the colors on individual parts.
If your car has the original interior that was standard the interior trim code would be 2U, deluxe 6U.

sweet thanks guys ... I searched hi and lo for some sign of a different carpet color - NADA ... the dash was black that I know .. was all original with the SMELL and the cracks !!!!
