Engine/transmission separator bellhousing plate
« on: June 11, 2014, 02:06:29 AM »
After 32 miles of being finished the planetary in the FMX decided to self destruct. Grrr!  Getting ready to reinstall the transmission soon. When I assembled the first time the engine/transmission bellhousing plate was already painted blue so I left it not knowing if it was correct. Now that it's out again, what is the finish supposed to be? Natural, blue, black? What about the bottom cover? Natural, blue or black? Thanks, Adam

Painted engine color while attached to the engine at the time of painting. Originally the paint was faded near the starter attachment point to insure good grounding for the starter

Ones I found when I did the last one I did showed signs of black so that is how I returned that one HAve also seen originals that were bare steel
