Hood lip molding

Could a 29K (october 64) Dearborn car have had hood lip molding?

1965 Mustang Fastback, October 29, 1964 Dearborn Build, In the family since new.

I'm not aware of any documentation showing it was available before the GT option was introduced.

I think I have the original hood, been in the family since new, plus the date code seems reasonable.

It has screw holes for the molding? Are they original?
