1965 power disc brake conversion
« on: April 18, 2014, 05:06:41 PM »
I have a 65 fastback with a 1985 mercury capri 5 liter and T-5 tranny, looking to install 4 wheel disc brakes. What kit should I look for, I would like to use modern drivelines clutch cable kit. I was looking at SSBC auto trans only kit, why do they say auto only? mine is being restomodded and nowhere near stock. I want the booster and master cylinder to fit with nocutting, I have TCP coilovers front and rear, TCP manual steering rack, maybe flaming river via TCP. Thanks for anyones help/guidance

well since this is a concours forum we really cannot give you a good answer. you will be better served posting on a modified type forum.

I get the concours part , but really those other forums don't exist, you guys know these cars best, so I would at least think that someone could answer part of my question.

To add to ZRay's suggestion for a site containing the info you're looking for:

http://www.stangfix.com

It's actually the sister site to this one.
