Plug-in for brake light switch source?
« on: March 11, 2014, 07:37:43 PM »
Anyone have a source for the plastic plug that goes on the brake light switch on a 68?  The wires are down to nothing in mine from years of movement and need  a plug with a few inches of wire so it can be spliced into the harness.  Seemed a  repair kit would be available but  I have done a Google search with no results, but that often happens when I search for things. Any advice welcome.  If you have ever had this problem what did you do to repair the plug.  Thanks!

Took one off a donor car - spliced the wires up above the wrap tape. Job done

I have a couple dozen headlight harnesses that I use to cannibalize parts from.  I can get you that connector with long enough pigtails to hide the splices within the main harness.  $5 plus $2.50 for shipping.  See http://midlife66.com/harnesses for contact information.
