66 NJ Radiator installation
« on: January 16, 2014, 07:24:25 PM »
Can anyone tell me if the four mounting nuts that hold the radiator to the radiator support slide onto the radiator support or do they slide over the holes on the radiator mounting fins or are the used as a normal nut would be and just sit in front of the fins or in front of the radiator support for that matter?

Was sure I took a photo but can't find it!

Thanks.

Updated your thread title ;)

Looks at the pictures I have and the majority (plenty of the radiators appear to have been out of the car) of the bolts were installed from the engine side point towards the front of the car with the J clips attached/installed in the radiator support for your plant and year
