Great thing about ebay they have a message feature and you can ask for more info and pictures
There are typically a few sparkplugs with Part # B8A-12405-A sets for sale at any given time. These seem to be the most commonly available variant of the BF42s.
Yes it is - other great thing is to have someone else confirm it for you
Gents,I'm looking for the correct spark plugs for a 1966 K-code build date of 23 Oct 1965 out of Metuchen. Am I correct that they should be a BF-32? The salesman at Green Sales Company in Cincinnati Ohio said so but haven't been able to verify.
Yes the correct heat range is BF32 .This info can be confirmed in the specification supplement to the 66 shop manual among others. The assemblyline plug would have a star on the insulator that the later versions do not have .
Wondering about this, so was the BF-32's for K-Codes and the BF-42's for standard V8's? It's just I have a line on some original BF-42's, but I have a 66 K-Code and want to get the correct ones...
With the current low octane gas, use a BF-42 on a 289HP for every type of driving, and put the BF-32 in for shows. Jim
