Retaner Ring Repair

1969 head light retainer Ring is it repairable ?  Anyone attempt to repair one of these ?  Try to repair it or just buy a new one.  Brian

I have a spot welder I could zap it with
You pay postage both ways, the welding is free

You could try to find a local school with a spot welder and ask a student to do it

You could use silver solder on it

     Thanks Bob for the offer.  I tried the silver solder but it wouldn't stick.  Not about to go near a school or any students.  Seems like NPD is the easiest.  Brian

There should be plenty of original ones out there. Used or N.O.S should always be your first choice in my opinion.
