Topic: 65 Dual Exaust Rear Brake Hose

Hi,

I just pulled my rear brake hose off and noticed a stamped w on the bracket and on the brass fittings, does anyone know what it means?  The hose looks to be in good condition, no cracks, not hard as a rock.  Could this be the original brake hose?

Weatherhead is the OEM vendor or was . They manufactured quite a number of brass type fittings on the cars. I understand they have been bought out or otherwise not weatherhead any more.

Could be. The 65 one didn't have engineering numbers like the later ones to easily distinguish it from after market.  I understand one of our forum members is reproducing a excellent single crimp repro of this very hose.
