Hello all,

I have a good friend of mine who has some extra parts. He could sell these easily on EBay but he would rather them go to someone who is working on a car to show in concours MCA events. We are just trying to better the hobby and get some more Fox Body cars out there on show days. If you need these for that please let me know - please don't take these to hoard or to sell. Fair? Please no restomods. We are purists, thanks and here is the list.

Is the #7 Head Lamp header a Ford NOS or an aftermarket ford tooling? Need a Ford part for our 93 Convertible that was lightly hit in front. Also would like the 5 Speed shifter knob for the 93 Cobra that has a snake shift knob that I would like a correct one for. The Cobra has a few mods that I am trying to revert back to original. Not looking to sell these, I need them for personal cars. Please pm me with shipping cost to 98685 and confirm whether the head lamp header is original Ford or not. Thanks, Andrew

Wow, that's a nice gesture and more than fair.    Great way to help out the Concours crowd, two thumbs up to your friend. 

While my SVO will never be a restomod, I think I will leave it as a 'survivor'. Even though it's got ding and dents and war wounds from 98,000 miles, it is still very original and hasn't quite hit the 'needs restored' threshold.  Of course after I get it mechanically 'refreshed' and attend shows and park next to original/restored cars, I may be embarrassed into restoring it.
