Floor Pan is Complete
« on: November 14, 2013, 09:29:53 AM »
Yesterday, I finished seam sealing the floor pan into my 66 coupe. I took the advice given and saved as much of the original floor as possible. That created a larger job with more welds and grinding.  I think the job went well and looks good to me. The floor is now solid and should last years. My next step is to lay down the Spectrum Sludge as shown on this site in another thread. When dried, I'll then spray two coats of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer( Silver Seal) along with a coat of Red Oxide Primer. Attached are a few photos. Thanks gain for every ones input and help on this part of my project. Also wanted to show the before and after of the passenger side rear quarter wheel well. I'm pleased with the results.
