We'll need to know what plant your car was built at since the surface pattern/texture is different at different plants ;)

Its a good idea to always include when and where the car was built when posting questions. If its always the same car you might want to create a signature so that its always there and requires no additional effort each post

Sorry Jeff I am a newbie it is a 68 San Jose.  I am having quiet ride do a custom firewall pad and wanted to see how the pad wraps around the bottom of the column and if the original is a 1 piece or 2 piece.  The pictures are for the CAD drawings.  I only need the drivers side as the company only needs to change the area around the steering column.  This company will not be able to duplicate the dimple San Jose pad which is ok.   Thanks again

So your modifying the car and you only need the area around the steering column, do I have this correct?

Will find a picture if I have one - all were one piece originally with a few "knock out" sections depending on heater, AC  of no heater

sorry for the confusion jeff.  the company currently makes a 2 piece that separates right of the steering column.  they can custom make one that is a one piece and has the material that can wrap under the column.  with a picture of the factory pad they can detail the cad drawings.  i attached their drawing which leaves a void around the steering column.  i needed the photo to see how the original pad wrapped around the steering column and meets back up next to the parking brake mount.   thanks for your help

Here is a late April San Jose Cal Special C code.  No AC.

The car is stripped right now, column out, but the pad is still in, if you need more photos let me know.
