Topic: A/C on 200ci mustang

Hello ,

I have a 200ci 66 mustang with power steering and A/C.
My A/C don't work and I would rebuilt it but I have a little problem , I don't know how can put belts .

My P/S have 1 groove , A/C have 1 groove , water pump have 2 grooves and engine have 2 grooves .


I serch on the web , I find this drawing on Classic Air website 

The A/C have 2 grooves .

Do you know another mounting ?

The picture in the illustration "A/C with P/S" is the correct routing,
you will need a two groove A/C clutch pulley, a little tough to find.

I'm in the process of restoring my '65 which also has A/C and PS. Though not yet restored I've attached a couple of photos of what the 2-groove clutch looks like; it may help you to find the correct clutch. Classic Air has a catalog and price sheet that you can download, you may be able to purchase the clutch from them or other Mustang suppliers.

There were two different style clutches used, one used brushes
and the other used a coil, they look different in the front also
but will both work as long as they have two grooves for the belts.
