69 Mach 1 Rear Interior Quarter Lights
« on: September 13, 2013, 12:17:56 AM »
Some time ago I saw RT- Motorsport advertising on eBay a set of these lights. I tried searching there site but it was for car sales and wondered if anyone knows where yo can get a new set?

Any help appreciated

Like this one?? Ignore the odd colored headliner

Many of the Mustang parts houses (found them at Virgina and NPD) appear to carry them. Just need to do a little search

They are similar to the 65-68 type but they are different in material and some other details. Same design were used in the 71-73 Cougar the later (at least 83 Cougar) and a number of other Ford products

The units are the same the wire harness/connections are different.  65-66 are individual male female connections.  69 is a  male/female dual plug.  Brian

Originals are pot metal & the reproductions I have seen are plastic. However, this could have changed.

The last set I bought from NPD for my '69 were pot metal.
Too much junk, too little time.

Original 69's were metal - 70's went to plastic.
I think Ford used some lights like these in the 80's.

The last set I bought from NPD for my '69 were pot metal.

My recent purchase from NPD were Scott Drake units, and are pot metal. I switched to LED light bulbs to keep the thin plastic lenses from turning yellow.
Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

Mid-80's T bird had quarter lights that were very similar if I recall correctly
