Original Air Conditioning - Liquid or Site Glass Hoses
« on: September 03, 2013, 08:02:54 PM »
Sorting through our used A/C hoses I came upon these differences between 1967-68.
The hose with the large brass site glass has a part number of C7ZA-19837-D, the other hose has no markings, I presume that it may be C7ZA-19837-A?

Anyone know which came first and any cutoff dates?  These would have come from 1967 Cougars (only built in Dearborn). and 1968 Cougars (built in both Dearborn and San Jose).
The other ends also have different crimps and one has notches on the nut, nuts look the same otherwise.

the letter is revision number so A will always be earlier than D, but not sure of applications
