Need to provide more information about which assembly plant your car was built and what time of the year.

Normally? As Charles mentioned it depends on the plant that the car was built at. Each did something differently.

Don't worry we'll get through the language issue if you will :)

Given that your car is a fairly late Dearborn car your would likely not have a PAINT OK stamp but instead the small square (don't by buy the ones with the rounded corners ;)  stickers that indicated the inspections were done. The stickers were sometimes not used in 66 at  Dearborn when  they reverted to the baseball diamond ink stamp for the electrical, final and paint OK in the outlined border and with the inspectors number below. Sorry I've got no clear picture from the info I have to when specifically each set (stamps or stickers) was used there that year.

As far as color of ink both yellow and white is what I've seen

My November 65, 66 Dearborn convertible had a square "P" sticker on the driver side cowl. in the photo, the sticker is gone, but the glue remains

Thanks for posting - unfortunately his car was built 6 months later in the production year ;)

The paint 'P' decal on the cowl was pretty typical for 65-66 Dearborn cars, probably starting maybe mid-'65 production year.

I have evidence of a decal on my April 19th scheduled 65 Dearborn car.

Colo59,
Welcome and thank you for posting the link to the French site.

Jeff, Charles, or anyone else,
What is the stamp near the solenoid?  Never saw that one before....

Stamp seemed odd to me also considering how the car was equipped I choose to blow up the picture and its apparent IMHO an in country stamp of some form. Likely something that originally confirmed that some tax had been paid or that a the car fit/met  some standard
