Revisiting this as I prepare to install the windshield.
There is a hole adjacent to each stud along the bottom, none up the pillars or along the top.
They are not at all distorted, so I don't think they have had screws in them previously.
I can only assume in must have been built around the changeover period, using a cowl that has the holes.
I am wondering if I should do something about this now, or hope I can pump in enough sealant to cover and fill the holes.
I can access the back side of most, so I could smear a blob of urethane sealant over the holes from the underside before installing the windshield.
Any better ideas from the gurus?
