Parchment interior (2U) in a 67 convertible
« on: August 20, 2013, 04:32:48 AM »
I was wondering if anyone can provide me with pictures of what a parchment interior looks like? The particular car I'm looking at is a dark moss green convertible (76A), SJ built in Feb 67. Please forgive my ignorance as I'm use to balck interiors.
Brad.

Don't have any pics handy, but '67 parchment is kind of a "dirty white".  It will look nice on a dark color car.

Here are some 5U parchment interior décor pics on a coupe, don't have any 2U or vert.  But these should give some clues.

Note that carpet and dash pad are black.

Everything else I noted was white, including: dash metal, door metal, door panel, dash knee pad, windshield pillars, headliner, wind lace, consoles (upper and lower), steering column, steering column center pad, (if not deluxe, steering wheel also), seats, rear side panels, sun visors, seat belts.

The kick panels were not in the car nor was the package tray.

Also note in the "dash 3" pic the amount of white paint on the firewall (this is a red car).

Hope this helps.
