No worries, there is only clear or sun-x.
All the etching is rather faint so it could have been polished out.
You didn't mention a date code so maybe that's obliterated too.
Put some white paper partially behind your glass and compare the glass covered paper with the paper not covered by glass.
Tint or not will be obvious.
It's tough to find one without chips, but I've hand sanded them out of the rounded edge on a few.
Don't pass up a nice glass just because the chrome frame is bad.
You can put it in another good frame, or rechrome the bad one.
Use a heat gun on the chrome and pull the two apart.
Remove a bad handle on the glass after you remove the glass from the frame, you need it to pull on.
I've used a torch too and it's ok so long as you keep the flame off the glass.
Soaking in solvent, or gas does absolutely nothing to separate the two.
