70 Dearborn cowl reinforcement color
« on: August 08, 2013, 11:34:45 PM »
On a 70 Dearborn Boss, the shock tower to cowl braces should be slop gray, right?  What color should the cowl reinforcement plate be painted, black or gray?   Thanks!

After more  searching, I found the answer under "shock tower braces".  Bob Perkins says it should be semi-gloss black.

Correct-Braces are slop grey, and the reinforcement plate (L-bracket) at the back, semi gloss black

+1   For a Dearborn car that year ;)

Shock tower supports were semi-gloss black at the other two factories - NJ and San Jose
