I got into a discussion with a Shelby owner today on the red paint dab used on the left hand steering stop for V-8 Mustangs including Shelbys. I maintain that the V-8 stop is the same for all 64-66 V-8 cars whether it's standard steering, power steering or disc brakes and the red paint applies to all. He maintains that the red dab is referenced on the disc brake page only and not on the standard/power steering page therefor disc only. Any words?
To throw more into the mix, the HP Mustang Book states that the right hand side should have a green dab, and both of us say we've not seen a green paint dab. Any more words?
And to complete the discussion, what was the paint dab (or dabs) used on 6 cylinder steering stops, keeping in mind that there is one style for standard steering and another for power steering.
