Here is a stamp by the same inspector on a 66 coupe in a salvage
yard I go to,  VIN 6T07C177122
MCA # 00945

65 Fastback, 6 cyl, AT, AC, PS, PB
Rangoon Red/Red Interior

I have seen a similar Paint OK stamp on 66 GT Coupe's Bonnet, firewall and inner guard.

Washing, polishing and cleaning stuff some more in an attempt to retain that 'Golden nugget'

Yes, Those are '65-'66 Metuchen Plant ONLY "Paint OK" stamps.

I have never seen that Quality Sealer stamp before though,  It's fantastic!

One of the few that was sold new in Norway and it has the original owner.

Almost does not want to tell, but its for sale...........!

A realy beautiful Mustang.

Hmmm...I have a sililar "Paint OK" stamp in the same location on my San Jose built 66 GT convertible. Took a picture of it before it was stripped.

NJ and San Jose IMHO stamps are not similar at all. PAINT OK was the standard lettering used during this period (smaller and different font) while San Jose rarely used the exact wording PAINT OK.  NJ used workers names or a two digit code to identify the inspector while San Jose didn't use names until later in part of 68 production
