Fastback trunk moulding install
« on: June 12, 2013, 10:15:33 PM »
How do I install the Corvex moulding with the parts they provided?  It is an original deck lid, square holes.
The ends are easy, nut on stud.
It came with clips with little pegs.  I realize that the pegs are to spread out the four legs of the clip after it is in the hole.  So do the clips and pegs go in the square holes first then the moulding is supposed to snap on?

Beliive so - watched a guy at a local shop last week bend the first repo trying to get it on (bend did not match the curve of the trunk lid) second one had to be twisted but no bend.   Typical reproduction I guess
