'69 Mach1 Fold Down Seat Carpet Color
« on: June 03, 2013, 09:42:57 AM »
What color should the carpet be on the 3 fold down seat pieces for a '69 Mach1 ? One piece had green on it and the curved piece had black on it.

Did the car originally have a fold down or was it added by a PO? One possible explaination

In any case all three fold down carpet sections would have matched and in your case - all black

Carpet colors can fade to all sorts of strange shades, but since I am not familiar with the three pieces in question, I'll leave it to the original poster as to whether that particular carpet piece could be faded relative to the other pieces.

Thanks Midlife, had another look and the carpet is definitely green and the other piece is black. The fixed part of the fold down seat must have been replaced for some reason.
