Topic: Where do the wires from a Rally Pack go

I have a rally pack mounted on the steering column of my 1965 fastback. Currently the wires are cable tied to the outside of the steering column and it looks untidy. How are the wires supposed to be routed?

There's a cable housing/channel that covers the wires on the steering column, IIRC.  It is reproduced: NPD has it Pg 20, 3678-1A.

Isn't that only for '66 models though? 

Wait, that may be for low profile Rally Pac's only.  Maybe that's what I was thinking of.  I have an original Rally Pac-equipped '65 convertible, and it has the high profile Rally Pac along with the Falcon-style speedometer.  I guess that's why it never had the separate channel for the wiring harness.

I usually just feed the wires over the top of the steering column for high-profile rally-pacs.  I'm not aware of a channel for that type as the lower attaching bracket is just c-shape with tabs.  The '66 collar is made specifically for the wire channel to be compatible.
