No printing on the hose but they (like most hoses) can carry a rib to identify the maker. Have seen these with single or no rib.

A local shop had ordered one a while back. It sucked compared to the original.

yea mine was stamped the entire length "goodyear" and something else I cant remember right now..goodyear...

You can wipe off the markings with some lacquer thinner.  Then it's just missing the raised rib line(s).

Most originals I have seen are torn apart or the rubber is cracked up and crumbling.

Just so all non perfect original vent tube hoses aren't automatically thrown away. As mentioned many are found crumbling at the axle tube end where it fits over the tube fitting. You are many times but not always able because of the length of the hose to fudge it enough to make one work after cutting off the typically 1 inch section at the axle tube fitting that is crumbling and unusable..

FYI..just got off the phone with Dead nuts on to order a rubber hose replacement for our choke cable...got into just discussions about our car and mentioned the vent tube...he said he just made a factory concourse correct ribbed hose...I cant speak on the details on what cars these are correct for but he said the are on...he is working on having correct crimp clamps made soon...ordered mine already...well hope that helps someone...he said it was ok to post about it..

I just removed the rear end out of our mustang, Oct 64 build date San Jose V-8 single exhaust, to restore it. The rear end still had the original id tag on it. The PO had removed the vent hose fitting and used a bolt with a hole drilled in it to hold the brake line and vent the rear diff 

After reading this thread on the vent hose fitting and seeing the pictures I thought I would share a picture of what I found when I looked under our car for the hose routing. There was a portion of the original hose in the clamp, the top hole was used to install the clamp, that was routed into the grommet.

I am going to clean off all the undercoating that the PO sprayed the clamp, bolt & grommet so it will have the original finish & look. I have found a used original vent fitting in great shape as well a NOS kit vent hose kit (hose has the yellow dab of paint on it). The previous PO installed air shocks on the car back around 1992 . I plan to find some more original looking type shocks and getting rid of those air shocks.
