Saw something for this on the web some time ago and have lost the link. 

Anyone know where I can find this stuff?  Sleeve over the "accordion" section of the column.  Coming to the US and want to pick up a few and toss 'em in the suitcase on the way home...

Parts finally arrived, and got it on.  Not quite as black as original, but far better than the scarred torn-up old one...

About $6 for one column.  It takes about 10 1/2" per, based on my examples, and if you order multiple feet it is one long piece...
