Topic: 65 interior paint White code

Hi I am in the process of restoring my 65 A code GT coupe, originally Caspian blue and came with pony interior 62 (white/blue)  I have the PGP interior paint code for the white dash paint 8162 and the medium blue poly for the A frame and doors 12989, the problem I am having is getting a current paint code for these colours at the local auto paint shop, but because these codes are obsolete, and the paint in the car is too faded to colour match, I need modern paint codes for these colours, not sure if there are DuPont colour codes for these, can anyone help? As I am stuck.

You've run across the problem with most of the old paint codes.... no equivalent for today's mixes and toners.

You might be able to find a company that has already gone through the effort at color matching since few of the major paint companies for cars that they will sell little palnt to

Try here as they may have already matched it in their products
