Map lamp
« on: April 07, 2013, 05:44:45 PM »
Hi,
Would anyone know if there is info on the map light that is mounted under the left side of the clock panel on a Mach 1 ?Was it an option?
Appears to be a three terminal sliding contact switch. The Ford MPC shows it and gives it a C9ZZ-A part number. It is obs. From Ford
It would be great to find one that works. Thanks !

I have it on my 69 Mach 1.
The car is optioned with the visibility group, so I believe that's why it's there.
Probably part of the convenience group for 70.
There are no eBay active listings, but lots in the 69 70 mustang map light completed listings.
Prices are pretty random.
