Topic: Paint color questions for 71 Mach 1

Anyone know the original color of the flat brackets under headlight buckets and the large plate the front bumper mounts on ? Also the bumper to frame brackets.

I am confident that the bumper to frame brackets are black.  The brackets under the headlights buckets I am not sure what part you are referring to.  The large plate for the front bumper is also black.  I have attached a couple of photos of the front of my car for the headlight buckets.  Did not have the bumper mounted at this time.

The bracket in question is actually flat or tray like directly under headlight bucket. As for the mounting plate for the front bumper what little paint still visible appeared to be slop grey matching shock tower braces. The slop grey on my car is quite dark. What gloss shade would the bumper mounting brackets have ben painted? Thanks Ashley

Ashley, Same batch gray as shock tower braces. The parts you listed are gray on Dearborn Car.

Bob knows what he is talking about.  Looks like I need to make some changes. Thank goodness I still have not mounted the front bumper. Whew!
