Source for Manganese Phosphate?
« on: March 23, 2013, 12:55:06 PM »
I need to redo the phosphate & oil finish on my hood hinges.  I've parkerized several parts before, but it was several years ago, and now it's been so long that I can't remember where I ordered the concentrated solution from.  Where's everyone ordering manganese phosphate from these days?

Thanks!

+1  Scott is very easy to deal with (he is the son of original owner, Vern). The stuff is very easy to use, just follow the directions provided. I watched Vern doing demonstrations at the Spring Auto Fair back in the early 80's and it's still a very popular product line. I finally broke down and bought some about 6 months ago for my parts. I was rebuilding/restoring a T-10 transmission for a Corvette owner. I figured, what a better way to practice for my parts?! Hehehe  The finish came out great!

Thank you, that ended up being the place I had ordered from before.  I couldn't remember the name until I saw the website again.
