70 Boss 302 -Lock out rod
« on: March 20, 2013, 08:33:29 PM »
Hi,

I have a 1970 Boss 302. I want to know what bushing goes in the lock out rod at the steering column. I have the pin but I think something is missing there because is not tight.

Thanks,
Luis

On the lever that is connected to the steering column, there is a plastic/nylon bushing that resembled a top hat (with a hole completely through it)   that sides into that arm, and then the lockout rod slides into it. Not sure if it is the same size as the Z-bar bushings, but similar in style.

I also  think originals are white, but I am not 100% sure on that.
