Thanks for the close up pic.  I was wondering about the black box w/ black lid that was mentioned earlier.  I think the color of the lid determines which type of wiring connectors were used and which vehicles it was to be used on.  From one of the dist-0-vac service manuals, Mustangs had 2 boxes available both with blue lids.  And they are the only ones that used blue lids.  In your pics the black box/blue lid 'S' is for the Mustang 351C 4V, the white box/blue lid 'V' is for Mustang 302 2V.  And the white box/black lid 'U' is Fairlane, Montego, Ranchero 302 2V.  The book never mentions 351W but may maybe the 302 ones were used for those too, I don't know.

They're almost the same.  The thicker of the two lines on the set I got is completely straight instead of having a bend like your pictures show.  They look more like the Ford diagram page that you posted that shows the different setups for 351C 4V shaker w & w/o a/c  They look like the ones for w/o a/c.  The diagram for the one w/ a/c isn't as clear so it's hard to tell what that one is really like, although it does look to be fairly straight too.  I'm hoping since our car has a/c that there is no difference.  Any idea?  I know the 302 tubes look completely different from what I have seen for sale on ebay.

The set I got was missing one of the mounting tabs so I had to make a new one.  And one tube was disconnected from the other tab so I had to tack that back on. 

I found them by emailing anyone that had Dist-O-Vac parts, or other parts they specifically said came off of a 1970 351C FMX Mustang, for sale on ebay and asking if they had other parts.  Around the 18th inquiry is when I finally hit pay dirt!

Anyone have a need for the speedo unit and (if I can find it) the short cable?  I've had one for a while and have no use for it...gotta pay for the ride tho.

Black on black unit from a 70 Cyclone GT 351-4V auto A/C car, located above glove box, which would be D0AZ-9E718-C according to the MPC.  The cover does not have the suffix, only the "D0AF-9E718- " text string.

I've included Mercury and Ford MPC info as well. 

Mercury used D0AZ-9E718-A, B, C, G, H and D1AZ-9E718-A on their car lines

Ford used D0AZ-9E718-A, B, C, G, H, and J.

Total number of variations = 7

Perhaps body and cap color combination was used to identify the application?
