64 1/2 Scissor Jack and Ratchet

Does anyone have a pic of an exact 64 1/2 jack and accessories?
is there any differences between the 64/65, were they date coded etc?

The scissor jacks were not date coded before Jan 1967.  And yes the early jacks are different.  If you have pictures you can post here can tell you if what you have is correct.

Don't believe so, from what I understand there are 2 main features that separate the early ('64.5'ish) jacks from the '65's: the threads and bearing. Early versions had corse threads, '65's had fine threads and the early version had a bearing next to the drive nut whereas the '65's used washers.

Jacks are a gray area due to multiple suppliers and the inability to verify if an "original" jack is still in the car after 40+ years.

     This is the jack that resides in my trunk and I don't really know how long it has been there.  Fine thread with a horse shoe type end.  On the drive nut end is a raised casting ' 5150 ' ?   The lug wrench is a Ford service part.  D4ZZ?-17032

The only thing I would add to this discussion is that the coarse thread has nothing to do with an early or late jack or an San Jose, Dearborn or Metuchen built Mustang.  This was one supplier that was supplying the coarse thread jack version thru the years.  All coarse thread jacks will be marked with an A to identify this manufacturer as Ausco.

I have a very original early Dec 65 Build Metuchen 66 GT and this is my jack and ratchet. Can anyone tell me if they are correct? I actually have the original unused spare on original wheel rim with white stampings on the tread face so I'm hoping that these are original too.....
