66 Steering Stops

MAR 66 C-Code P.S.

The STEERING STOPS that bolt on with the strut rods, at the lower control arms. ...

Steering stops were natural.  Bolt was typically zinc as well as the lock washer although lock washer could also be cad plated.

Lock washer? Both the bolts and deformed upper edge lock nuts were clear zinc. I bead blast and then lightly phosphate the stops. The left hand stop on V-8 cars gets a red dab of paint. Don't know about I-6 stops ID, either standard or power steering.
